I bought 2 of these. Within 1 week, both covers are shredded to pieces. The rack themselves are fine – very easy to put together, sturdy, etc. But don’t bother with the covers. The zippers are cheap, the plastic is brittle and thin, and they rip very easily.

Easy and quick to assemble, and much stronger than I expected. We considered buying the 4-foot model, but we’re gald we didn’t. We’ve piled this rack higher than the end rails; but it holds up beautifully. this means we don’t have to go out in rain and snow to the woodshed so often. It’s great to have the wood off the floor in our garage; it makes it easy to sweep and clean underneath. The Contemporary Arch model is for some strange reason 10 dollars cheaper. No complaints about that — it’s already an outstanding value! A+++

The image is black in color and the description does not state a color. The rack arrived bronze in color. I was supprised and do not want to mess with returning it. I do not know how durable it is, since it is not put together.

The photo does not match the product. There are bars in the end loops and there are no longer cross ties for the bottom of the legs. I had to make my own to prevent spreading. Still good value for the money.

The product itself seems to be good but the packaging is sub par. We ordered two 8′ racks. Both cartons arrived with the ends split open. When we opened them to assemble the racks some the nuts and bolts were missing having come out of the flimsy plastic package inside. I suggest that the nuts and bolts be packaged inside a sturdy box and firmly taped inside the shipping carton. We tried calling Landman but they were closed for the day so we just bought the missing parts, a needless hassle.

Due to the draught in SE Tennessee, I have lost several large trees the last couple years. Therefore I had several dead trees taken down and cut up for firewood. I ordered 2 Landmann 8′ racks and they were so well made, I ended up ordering 2 more, and now I have 5 all together stacked with firewood. The quality is excelent, easy to assemble, and they are very sturdy and well made. And they keep the wood off the ground! Also, I received them all within 3 to 5 days from ordering date with “FREE SHIPPING”!

Product is as described and is easy to assemble. Holds 1/4 cord of wood PLUS depending on how high you stack.

Shipping was quick but the packaging left alot to be desired…in particular for the Fastening Bolts (which are the MOST IMPORTANT part of the package IMO).

It seems they kinda tape or fasten the bolts into the plastic of the End loops….however it is definite that during shipping….these bolts come loose and bounce around in the box.

You need 12 Bolts with Washers & Nuts…..I got 11….so had to run over to HOME DEPOT and find ones that fit into the holes of the middle bracket.

If they fix that…..this is the best option for a log rack at an affordable price.

I bought this rack (and several more) for an unusual purpose. I wanted to get everything up off my garage floor so I could sweep it all, and spiders and mice would have a less-hospitable space. It’s perfect. All the recycle containers, trash cans, bird food containers, dog food containers, gasoline cans, small equipment, etc. are off the floor and I can sweep it (or, even easier, put a Roomba Dirt Dog vacuum out there for an hour and have a super-clean garage every day…and I live in the country!) If I ever don’t want to use these for that purpose, I can use them for firewood or sell or give them away. Easy to assemble, sturdy. I’m happy with them.

I bought this for my husband who has been working very hard splitting logs from some trees we had cut down. As new home owners, we really appreciated the ease of assembly and were impressed with how strong the rack is. I particularly like how the wood stays up off of the ground, it helps to keep it dry and bug free, and not to mention that it just looks nice! I’m not sure how much wood my husband has split, but we’ve already filled this rack and becaUse we are so pleased with it, I just ordered a second.
